Agents Do Charity - On The Road To Brighton
Directors Elliot and James along with company friend Ben decided it would be good idea to get on their bikes and ride from London to Brighton... see how the got on raisng money for the charity Mind
London to Brighton 2022
James, Elliot and Ben set of from Clapham Common at 6am on a dark crisp Sunday morning full of excitement and motivation. This was first for all three of them and they were raising money for the charity Mind.
The 55 mile journey had serval water and maintenance stops along the way, they had flat tyres, brake and steering issues amongst others to deal with on their travels.
Once they were out of London they predominantly cycled along quiet country lanes passing through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge that is Ditchling Beacon – a mile long climb to the top of the South Downs where they was to be rewarded with amazing views and a water break! The boys didn’t manage to beat the Beacon but they did make it to the top
The boys were rewarded with a friendly reception from friends and family on the finish line and a pub lunch to recover followed by several well-earned beers.
